Accommodations for participants will be at the Inn at Middletown. For directions and other information, please see their website. Regular check-in begins at 3p.m. Depending on the hotel occupancy, you may be able to check in early — at noon or even earlier. Call the front desk when you arrive at (860) 854-6300 to determine availability (if you wish). In any event, you will be able to leave bags there prior to checking in.

The conference itself will be at the Mansfield Freeman Center for East Asian Studies. Please see our website for directions (on the "Contact" page) and other information. Parking is available on the street.

If you arrive early, you are welcome at the East Asian Studies Center any time (see above for website and directions). You can visit Wesleyan's Olin Library or explore the campus. Main Street has a number of good restaurants and shops, and Broad Street Books is located between Main Street and the Wesleyan campus.
